Born in 1952 in Marseille , France .
Spent his childhood between Marseille and Africa : Somalia Algeria and Senegal .
Studied At l’Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux Arts de Paris .
Moves to Barcelona, starts to do small sculptures of cars in wood selling them in small galleries.
In 1983 , he met Fernando Palazuelo and Sofia Barroso. He started a long collaboration and friendship that lasts until today.
They created ARTE EXPRESS and organized several expositions with him in Madrid , Barcelona and France .
In 1993, he married Carmen Almon and moves to NYC. He then abandoned traditional sculpture and work with the architect Michael Schmitt creating furniture, lamps and other numerous objects for private clients.
He also at the same time and in between his collaboration with Mike Schmitt, worked as a comercial sculptor for Cynthia Woodie doing action figures for Mattel , Hasbro, Disney etc.
He worked also for Falco and Co doing very big installations for Toy Fair in NYC .
He created for Sandra Bernhardt a whole set of display elements cast in aluminum shown at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in NYC in 1999 and 2001 .
In 2001, Carmen and Thierry moved to France .
Carmen Almon , started there to work in botanical sculpture and became famous with numerous publications and articles ( New York Times, Architect Digest... ) .
They collaborated and still do in the making of her sculptures. He does the bases and the structural part of her sculptures.
He created in parallel a space in Bordeaux called Lulared showing his designs .
In 2015, he was approached again by Fernando Palazuelo who had just bought the Packard Plant in Detroit. He commissioned him a car sculpture to be exhibited in front of the Packard’s.
After 15 proposals in forms of models , they agreed on one fabricated in April and May 2019 in Detroit at Addison Metal Work .
The sculpture should be inaugurated in April 2020 .
In 2017 , he moved to New Orleans and starts to work in a series of buildings and constructions . This is the show: Real Estate.
